Slaughtering at graves

Question: Some people from the family of the deceased drive animals which they call “Jadf” to be slaughtered at the graves and distributed over the people who are present there. They are slaughtered 100 meters away from the grave. These animals may be sheep, camels or cows. Please advise, dear Shaykh. May Allaah grant you success!

Answer: Slaughtering (sacrificing) at graves is prohibited, and also the so-called “Jadf”, because of its involving purposes of worshiping and drawing close.
