Question: It was authentically reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to some young men: And anyone who cannot afford it (i.e. Marriage) should observe Sawm (Fast). Does “Sawm” in the Hadeeth mean observing Sawm, like that of Ramadaan, throughout the year or just abstaining from prohibited acts and not from food and drink?
