Answer: All praise be to Allaah Alone, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger, and his family and Companions. Neither Ghusl nor Wudoo’ is obligatory for a midwife as a result of her assisting a pregnant woman during delivery. She just has to wash off any Najaasah (impurities) – such as blood or the like – that may have soiled parts of her body and clothing if she is going to perform Salaah (Prayer).
