Is it permissible to pause before ending a long Aayah to take a breath?

Question 104: Sometimes, an Aayah (Qur’aanic verse) is very long. Is it permissible to pause before ending the Aayah to take a breath while reciting in Salaah (Prayer), elsewhere, or during memorization?

Answer: There is no objection to pausing while reciting an Aayah to take a breath if there is a need for this, whether this occurs during Salaah or anywhere else.
