Entering the toilet while carrying the Mus-haf (copy of Arabic Qur’aan)

Question 11: If one carries the Mus-haf (Qur’aan, the Book) in his pocket and enters the toilet while having it in his pocket, what is the ruling regarding this? Please provide us with a useful answer.

Answer: It is permissible to carry the Mus-haf in the pocket, but it is not permissible to carry it while entering the toilet; rather, one should leave it in an appropriate place, outside the toilet, out of exalting the Book of Allaah and honoring it.
